What Are Reusable Nappy Boosters & Liners: How Do I Use Them?

REUSABLE NAPPY LINERS

A microfleece liner is intended to be placed between baby and the nappy.  These liners catch solids for easy disposal down the toilet, whilst letting the wee pass through to be absorbed by the nappy. As microfleece is an extruded filament, nothing really sticks to it and therefore solids are easy to dispose of.

Disposable liners are designed to be placed in the nappy next to baby's skin. The nappy will draw any moisture through the liner but it will stop the solids. When you change baby's dirty nappy, remove the liner and bag and bin it - do not flush!  Disposable liners can be used with any nappy systems and are great for convenience when out and about for example.  Where possible, do try and use eco-friendly and sustainable reusable liners where you can!

REUSABLE NAPPY BOOSTERS

As the nappy holds no absorption itself, these are an essential layer of bamboo or organic cotton fabric that absorbs all the liquid. Place one or two of the boosters between the nappy and the wrap to extend the absorption capability. If you find that 2 boosters is not absorbent enough for night times, an additional booster can be used on top of the fleece next to baby's bottom.

When using the LittleLamb pocket nappy system, the 'pocket' between the waterproof outside fabric and the fleece inside fabric is where the boosters are placed.
