Handcrafted in Lithuania, our Baltic amber teething bracelet is beaded out of smooth 100% natural Baltic amber beads and pink quartz, then strung upon pure cotton that is waxed. Each bead is carefully knotted on both sides to prevent scattering in case the necklace was to break.
Amber is believed to have healing properties and balance emotions, and has been widely used for many hundreds of years. When amber comes into contact with the skin, it releases succinic acid a powerful antioxidant that protects the body's cells. The strong antioxidant has anti-inflammatory properties which are said to relieve baby's teething pain.
Amber is said to bring comfort, warmth and joy, as well as relief and stress. When heated, amber changes ionisation and is thought to have a positive effect on the body and mind.
Common applications have been to relieve pain/symptoms of arthritis, asthma, allergies and teething in babies. Amber acids are now produced artificially and used in modern medicine.
In the interest of safety, a knot is tied between each bead, and the necklace has a pop-lock closure, so the chain will open by itself in the unlikely event it gets stuck.
This bracelet is created for wearing, not for chewing. Wash the necklace in soapy water before putting it on your baby's hand. They're suitable for babies (boys and girls) 12 months and up.

Standard delivery orders will be shipped within 1-2 working days and received within 3-4 working days.
